Rt. Rev. Aniefiok Victor Attakpo is a missionary and a seasoned minister of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria (PCN) with a good educational background, extensive leadership experience, and a strong commitment to advancing the mission of the church. Born on June 1, 1973, in Akwa Ibom State, he is married and hails from Uruan Local Government. His academic journey has taken him to institutions across Nigeria and Ghana, where he earned a Master of Arts in Theology & Mission from the Akrofi-Christaller Institute in Ghana, as well as a Master of Arts in Evangelism and Mission from Leadership Christian University, Kaduna. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Divinity and a Diploma in Theology from Trinity Union Theological College, Umuahia.
Rev. Aniefiok’s professional journey within the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria began in 1999 when he was appointed as a Probationer at the Warri Parish. Over the years, he held various leadership positions, including serving as a Parish Minister in Zaria, Minna, and Lugbe Parishes. He served as the a Parish Minister at the Four Towns Parish, Uyo, till when he moved into the office of the Deputy Clerk. His responsibilities extend beyond parish leadership, having worked as the Synod Clerk and Moderator for the Synod of the North. He has also been actively involved in church mission work, serving as the Mission Coordinator for the Synod of the North and planting numerous mission stations across Northern Nigeria.
In addition to his pastoral duties, Rev. Aniefiok is committed to theological education. He has been a lecturer at Essien Ukpabio Theological College,Itu;the Presbyterian Church Bible College in the Synod of the North and has contributed to the development of other mission schools, such as the Bible Training Center for Pastors-Africa. His leadership in mission work has seen him facilitate the School of Discipleship at General Assembly level; the translation of church materials into Hausa language, and the creation of mission fellowship-Friends of the Lost, to support the church’s outreach efforts
Rev. Aniefiok has also authored several publications, including the World Mission Prayer Guide and two volumes of the Discipleship Manual. These works have contributed significantly to Christian education and mission efforts within the church. His hobbies include reading, traveling, and playing table tennis, activities that reflect his personal commitment to growth and connection with others.
